Qingsong Yuedu - Elementary Chinese

This book is a reading textbook suitable for foreign students with elementary Chinese proficiency (who have mastered the most basic grammar of Chinese and have a vocabulary of about 1,500 words). There are 21 lessons in this book, and each lesson is composed of text, new words, exercises, and Chinese characteristics. Each lesson formulates a central content, consisting of four to five meaningful short essays, about 2,000 words. Text forms include dialogue, narrative, explanation, paraphrase, discussion, etc. The content of the text is extensive, and the selection of materials is diverse, mainly selected from newspapers, magazines, and Internet news in recent years. The number of new words in each lesson is controlled at about 30, with translations in English, Korean, and Japanese. It is basically based on the A and B vocabulary of the "Standards and Outline".
