"Easy Reading - Intermediate Chinese Extensive Reading" is an extensive reading textbook compiled for special reading training for international students with intermediate Chinese proficiency. It can be used not only in classroom teaching, but also as a supplementary material for Chinese learners to carry out extracurricular reading training.
This textbook is divided into two volumes, with 20 lessons in each volume. Each lesson has a theme and consists of texts, new words, exercises, "Chinese characteristics" and small HSK exercises. Most of the texts are selected from newspapers, magazines and articles on the Internet in recent years, focusing on the richness, informativeness, readability and practicality of the corpus. The part of new words is accompanied by annotations in English, Korean and Japanese. "Chinese Characteristics" mainly introduces and explains the relevant social phenomena and cultural background knowledge involved in the article. Considering the requirements of HSK test, this textbook specially designs small HSK exercises to test students' Chinese reading ability.
