12 lessons cover 55 new Chinese words, 24 commonly used sentence-forms, 12 class phrases and 78 Chinese characters. This series mainly introduce initials, finals, tones and combination way of pinyin, the greetings and self-introductions, as well as all the strokes of characters, which will initial students into Chinese characters and simple dialogues. 40 studying hours is required for this textbook.
