This book is a listening comprehension textbook that complements "Intensive Basic Chinese Course: Comprehensive Textbook", and it can also be used alone. It is suitable for short-term students who are beginners or have a little foundation in Chinese. The book consists of 4 volumes, each with 10 lessons, for a total of 40 lessons. At the back of each volume is a "comprehensive listening and comprehension test paper" to help students familiarize themselves with the question types and problem-solving methods of the listening and comprehension test. The first five lessons of the first volume are focused on pronunciation, and a large number of "basic pronunciation practice materials" are attached at the back of the book to effectively train students to distinguish voice tones. Starting from Lesson 6 of the first volume, each lesson in each volume is designed with four parts: pre-listening practice, listening practice, post-listening practice and extensive listening practice. At the same time, each book is equipped with a learning guide.
