Advanced Chinese Writing Course (Part 1) (Peking University Edition)

"Advanced Chinese Writing Course" was compiled by teachers with rich experience in writing teaching and teaching material compilation from the School of Chinese Language and Culture of Nankai University. This book is divided into two volumes, with a total of thirteen chapters. The first volume has seven chapters, including narrative biographies, news, newsletters, survey reports, travel notes, explanatory essays, stories, etc.; the second volume has six chapters, except contracts, including argumentative essays, post-reading impressions, speeches, and comments on hot issues , literary criticism, etc. This book is a unique teaching material, each chapter includes four parts: Basic knowledge - a concise introduction to the main features and writing requirements of the style. Example essays - pay great attention to the characteristics of the style, and take into account the level of difficulty. Each example article has a side commentary and a brief analysis. Comments on foreign students’ work——revise the problems existing in students’ work one by one in a targeted manner, just like learning writing in the teacher’s face-to-face review, practicing—word collocation, wording and sentence making, use of materials, discourse connections, paragraph responses, etc. Training throughout, laying a solid foundation for improving the user's writing level. This book can be used not only as a teaching material for foreign students, but also for self-study.
